Scaffolder - Intermediate to Advanced

Location: Gladstone, QLD

Category: Permanent Full-Time

The successful candidate for the position shall be working to the highest level of safety and performance, and enjoy working as part of a team.

Key responsibilities include:

• To carry out each job in compliance to specification (quality) and appropriate WH&S and Environmental Acts and Regulations
• Participating in Workplace Safety Meetings on all projects
• Participating in the compilation of Job Safety Analysis for each new job or project 

Key skills and attributes required for this role include::

• Inermediate or advanced scaffolding certificates
• Self-motivated with the ability to work unsupervised
• Sound communication skills, both written and oral
• Basic knowledge of WH&S & Environmental regulations pertaining to the industrial services industry
• The ability to liaise with Veolia Environmental Service's clients
• Problem solving attitude with the ability to identify and rectify minor operational problems associated with the scaffolding erection or dismantling
